Forest Model Village opening 18th February 2006

The Forest Model Village will be opening for 2006 at February Half Term.

Visitors, both old and new, will be able to see many new ‘miniature delights’. The Village will continue to add new models and figures throughout the year, l.

For 2006 the Model Village will be adding: Another model railway, a new model bed showing the Forest of Dean area in miniature with many new ‘local landmark’ models.

Rich Daniels, Director, commented: “We had a postive first season and are looking forward to a busy 2006. The site is being developed further and we are sure the Forest Model Village will quickly become a popular choice for families throughout the surrounding areas and major local cities such as Bristol, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Cardiff.”

He when on to explain “The central aim of the project remains to promote the region to its inhabitants and visitors and to do this with humour and within a magical setting”
